Estimation of protein

Estimation of protein may be a useful method of assaying for the activity of an enzyme or protein of  interest. Sometimes too, it may become necessary to estimate quantitatively, the amount of protein presents in food samples as in proximate analysis.

Common methods of protein estimation include;
   Bradford method
   Folin-Lowry method
   Taking the Absorbance at 280mm.
