The 46th Annual Scientific Conference tagged EKO 2010 is real. Accommodation has been valued between N5,000 and N10,000 for 3star hotels for the conference.

This conference is in line with the realization of the MDGs so to buttress this; resources persons have been drawn from CDC, USAID, UNICEF, and other reputable organizations deliberate on the actualization and possible challenges of MDGs.

The conference theme "CURRENT TREND IN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE: A TOOL TOWARD REALIZATION OF MDGs" and all the Symposium topics are very topical, especially the central role of medical laboratory science delivery at this period of actualizing MDGs in a global economic melt down.

The aspiration of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, is to massively transform Lagos state to meet the status of a 21st century complain mega city. The city of Lagos has also had tremendous improvements in the areas of traffic control, urban mass transport, and infrastructure and tourism development, infact visitors to Lagos in recent times had pleasant of surprises as they enjoyed the pleasures of the city without the notorious traffic snarls. So participants should get ready for a lot of fun as special, loaded, tourism package has been put together for them.
The symposium topics are:
‘Global Financial Meltdown: its Impact on Quality of Medical Laboratory   Services’ - Rep of WHO
‘ Medical Laboratory Science Service Delivery; Training, Retraining and Capacity building- Rep of CDC
