NISEB 2010 NIGERIAN SOCIETY FOR EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGY TENTH ANNIVERSARY AND LIFE SCIENCE CONFERENCE (Sept, 2010)

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Local Organizing Committee, on behalf of the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology, cordially invites all Life Scientists and the general public to its Tenth Anniversary and Extraordinary Conference which will take place at the University of Ibadan Conference Centre, Ibadan, from Tuesday September 7 to Thursday September 9, 2010.

Theme: The Role of Biology in Achieving the Millenium Development Goals.
Sub-Themes: (1) Biology of Parasitic and Viral Infections, (2) Biology and Food Security, (3) Environmental Biology and Sustainable Development, (4) Maternal and Child Health.

Papers are invited on all aspects of the conference theme (and sub-themes) for oral presentation or posters in a parallel scientific session. The abstract, not exceeding 400 words, should be sent by e-mail to Professor Clement Bewaji <cobewaji@niseb.org>.

The deadline for the receipt of abstracts is July 31, 2010. All abstracts will be subject to peer review by the Scientific Committee of NISEB 2010 and authors whose abstracts are accepted for presentation will be notified.

Authors should also submit full texts of their papers at the Conference venue. These will also be reviewed and subsequently published in NISEB Journal.

The Registration dues are as follows:
Members: N5,000/$100
Non-Members: N8,000/$150
Students: N1,000/$50
All payments should be made in cash at the Registration Desk.
