I was just thinking on the prospect of using protein to create physical machines, then a thought came to me, it is actually possible to create a computer whose processor and ICs are completely based on enzymatic system. That would be the next generation computer. When you consider the complex logics built into the human and cellular system, the complex millions of enzymes working synchronously together, you will come to appreciate the great potentials in enzyme and protein technology. Enzymatic machines would replicate the biosystem better than a physical machine. What do you think?
